Summary
In September 2007 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices had a year-on-year rate of change of -1.1%, down by 2.3 percentage points from the same rate registered in August. In retail trade, employment, wages and the number of hours worked adjusted for working days had positive year-on-year rates of change of 2.6%, 7.6% and 1.5%, respectively.
