Summary
The results of the October 2005 Investment Survey for reveal a drop in investment in 2005, which represents a strong downward revision from previous estimates. In the present survey, Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) of enterprises falls by 4.3% in 2005, compared with an increase of 7.8% in the April 2005 Survey. The first investment estimate for 2006 points to growth of 8.3%, representing a clear acceleration from 2005, considering the estimate obtained in the present survey.
