In June 2006 the year-on-year change in the new housing construction cost index in the mainland was 4.3%, 0.2 percentage point (p.p.) higher than in May. The year-on-year change in the housing regular maintenance and repair price index in the mainland was 4.1%, similar to the change recorded in the previous month.
