Summary
In February the interest rate on housing loans as a whole was set at 3.743%, which represents a rise of 0.069 percentage point (p.p.) from January. The rate on contracts signed over the last 3 months was up by 0.121 p.p., to stand at 3.471%. The average value of principal outstanding per contract indicated a monthly increase of €191, and loan repayments stood at €277, a €3 rise from the previous month. The share of principal repaid declined by €1, while total interest paid was up by €4.
