The Industry Turnover Index recorded a year-on-year change rate of 18.8% in January (18.3% in the previous month). Excluding the Energy grouping, sales in industry grew 16.8% (20.0% in December). Domestic market and non-domestic market change rates were 12.5% and 27.9% (11.3% and 30.2% in the previous month), respectively, and still reflecting the increases in production prices, which index increased 17.9% in January (20.0% in the previous month).

Employment, wages and salaries, and hours worked (adjusted of calendar effects) year-on-year change rates were 2.6%, 3.9% and 2.1% (2.2%, 6.8% and 2.2% in December), respectively.
