Industrial Production year-on-year change rate was 0.4% in December (0.2% in November). Excluding the Energy grouping, the variation was 2.2% (3.2% in previous month). Manufacturing Industry year-on-year change rate was 1.0% (0.8% in November). The monthly change rate of the total index was 1.8% (1.2% in previous month).

In the 4th quarter of 2021 the aggregate index decreased 2.0% in year-on-year terms (in the 3rd quarter, this change rate was -4.8%). Manufacturing Industry decreased 0.6% (-3.7% in the 3rd quarter).

The average change rate in 2021 was 2.9% (-7.0% in the previous year). Manufacturing Industry grew 4.7% after a decrease of 8.3% in 2020.
