80% of hotel establishments use computer, 70% have a broadband connection and 75% have presence on the Internet - 2008

Summary
The results of the first survey on Information and Communication in Hotel Establishments 2008 reveal that, 80% of hotel establishments use computer, 78% have access to the Internet and 75% are present in this network.
The Internet Access via broadband was made for 70% of hotel establishments, being the DSL connection the most used (75%). The proportion of hotel establishments that made, in the year of 2007, bookings through the Internet reached 65%.
