The average value of housing bank appraisals in Portugal stood at €1039/sq meter in June, down by 0.8% from the value observed in the previous month (the same rate was observed in the previous month). The year-on-year change rate was -7.9% (-8.9% in May). In Lisboa Metropolitan Area the average value was the same as observed in May, €1240/sq meter, while in the Porto Metropolitan Area the value went down by 0.7% to €967/sq meter. The year-on-year change rates observed in those Metropolitan Areas were -9.4% and -7.6%, by the same order.
