In March 2008 the seasonally adjusted index for retail trade turnover at constant prices registered a year-on-year rate of -2.4%, decreasing 6.2 percentage points from February. In retail trade, the year-on-year rates for employment and wages and salaries were positive, standing at 3.5%, and 7.8%, respectively, while hours worked adjusted for working days registered a rate of -0.4%.
