As a result of almost 20 years of collaboration between Statistics Portugal and the National Statistics Institute of Spain, a new edition of Península Ibérica em números | La Península Ibérica en cifras | The Iberian Peninsula in figures is made available.

As in previous years, the 2021 publication is a compilation of the most relevant indicators portraying the two Iberian countries – Spain and Portugal –, also enabling the comparison between the two countries and, in many of the indicators included, to understand the positioning of both in the context of the European Union. For this purpose, Eurostat is used as the main source.
