Data Science Portugal × INE are teaming up for “AI & Data in the Public Sector.” We’ll dive into real use cases from the frontline of official national statistics, swap lessons learned, and end with networking to meet fellow data folks, public servants, and innovators.
On stage, Inês Magessi (DareData) shares hard-won insights from building chatbots for public institutions, Sofia Rodrigues (INE) opens the curtain on innovation at INE, and Sonia Quaresma (INE) shows how AI & ML power official statistics.
Afterwards, all speakers will come together for a dynamic round table discussion, with the participation of the INE I.P. team — Sónia Quaresma, Luís Ferreira and Paula Cruz — and Daredata's Nuno Brás, moderated by Pedro Campos. We will discuss what already works, what still needs to be improved and what's next for AI in the public sector.
