Summary
The publication Statistics of Services provided to enterprises – 2008 presents the following outcome:
 - in 2008, the services provided within the areas of Computing and related activities; Legal activities; Accounting, auditing and consultancy; Market research and public opinion polling; Architecture and engineering; Technical testing and analysis; Advertising and Employment activities, were carried out by 42 245 enterprises, which employed 264 092 people and achieved a turnover of 13.9 billion euros;
 - enterprises with less than 10 employees accounted for 94% of the entities surveyed, in 2008;
 - out of the total turnover generated, more than 76% was concentrated on the Lisbon region, in 2008;
 - main clients were within the private sector and sales were mostly directed towards the domestic market.
