Statistics Portugal releases the publication Sport in numbers – 2025, with information for a set of indicators regarding sports in Portugal, which result from several statistical operations carried out by Statistics Portugal and from administrative sources. The information reports the years 2020 to 2025, when available.
The publication is organized into eight chapters: education, employment, business sector, earnings, international trade, consumer price index of goods and services, public financing and federated sport, going through a set of themes in the economic and social context in which the sports activities are developed.
