The thematic structure of this Statistical Yearbook of the Norte Region´was reorganised, comprising now 25 sub-chapters grouped into four major chapters - Territory, People, Economic Activity and State - which further incorporate new thematic areas in a bilingual version (Portuguese and English). Another important innovation of this issue consists in a table presented at the beginning of each sub-chapter containing a set of synthetic indicators, thus allowing for a more immediate perception of the main territorial patterns in different subjects.
