The Yearbooks contain data on several subjects providing a comprehensive picture of the economic and social life in Portugal, at the national, regional and local level. It includes a wide range of demographic, economic and social statistics covering the topics: territory and demography, employment and wages, agriculture, industry, tourism, companies, health, social protection, education, culture, justice, environment and living conditions, among others. As much as possible, the data presented is comparable with data from previous editions enabling an analysis through times of variables and socio-economic indicators. Each section of the Yearbook includes statistical concepts used for each variable presented, making it easier for users to understand the statistical data.
