Summary
The National Statistical Institute sets out, for the first time, the publication Horticulture Statistics 2001 which provides a wide range of statistical data on horticulture.
It covers subjects related to the size of holdings specialising in horticulture, equipment and machinery, labour force, production and trade of main horticultural goods, for the period 1995-2001.
It was structured in brief analysis, graphs and cartograms of the several themes, for the easy reading and understanding of data.
The publication is divided into 3 chapters. The first and second chapters cover statistical data and the third presents methodological notes and the concepts used.
