At what time are Press Releases published on the Portal?

The standard release time is strictly 11:00 a.m. on the dates set out in the Release Calendar. However, as Statistics Portugal follows the principle of punctuality and European statistical synchronisation, when a national statistical operation is part of the coordinated release calendar of Eurostat (the official statistical service of the European Union), the resulting Press Releases are exceptionally published at 9:30 a.m. (Lisbon time), namely the Flash Estimate of the CPI/HICP (inflation), the Quarterly National Accounts (GDP) and International Trade in Goods. This procedure ensures that national users have access to the information simultaneously, thereby avoiding any risk of international information asymmetry.
