Summary
In October 2010, hotel activity registered 3.4 million overnight stays, accounting for a year-on-year increase of 8.5%, compared with October 2009. For this result non residents contributed mostly with a growth of 10.8% while   residents, that in September recorded an increase equivalent to non residents, now rose  only by 3.4%.
Total income from hotel activity reached EUR 161.9 million  and income from hotel occupancy EUR 108.4 million,,accounting for increases of 5.9% and 6.1%, respectively.
