In February, Industrial Production year-on-year change rate was 2.6%, up by 1.4 percentage points from January. Manufacturing Industry year-on-year rate was 7.2%, considerably higher than the previous month (0.1%), in part due to base effects associated to the strong decline observed by the respective index in February of 2009.
