June 2026 (definitive estimates):
- The unemployment rate stood at 5.7%, up from May 2026 by 0.1 percentage points (pp), but down from March of the same year by 0.2 pp and from June 2025 by 0.3 pp.
- The labour underutilisation rate was estimated at 9.3%, down from the previous month (0.1 pp), from three months before (0.5 pp) and from the same month of a year earlier (0.9 pp). This value was the lowest value since 2011, when the data series was started for this indicator.
July 2026 (provisional estimates):
- The unemployment rate stood at 5.7%, the same value as in April and June 2026, but down from July 2025 (0.1 pp).
- The labour underutilisation rate was estimated at 9.5%, up from the previous month (0.2 pp), but down from three months before (0.2 pp) and from a year earlier (0.6 pp).
- The unemployment rate of men stood at 4.9%, reaching its lowest value since February 1998.
