In July 2026, the tourist accommodation sector recorded 3.4 million guests (+1.0%) and 9.6 million overnight stays (+2.1%). These results generated EUR 923.7 million in total revenue and EUR 734.4 million in revenue from accommodation (+4.9% in both).
The growth in overnight stays was driven by the positive contributions from both residents and non-residents. Overnight stays by residents rose by 5.1% (+3.7% in June), reaching 3.1 million. Overnight stays by non-residents grew by 0.7% (following -0.5% in June), totalling 6.6 million.
Among the top ten inbound markets, Poland and Germany recorded the highest growth rates (+10.8% and +5.3%, respectively). In contrast, the French market continued to show the sharpest decline (-5.9%). A further highlight was the decline in overnight status generated by the North American market (-3.1%), which fell for the second time since the pandemic (the decrease recorded in February 2025 (-4.4%) may have resulted from a calendar effect, namely the one associated with the Carnival period).
In the same month, the revenue per available room (RevPAR) stood at EUR 104.3 (+1.8%) and the average daily rate (ADR) reached EUR 154.9 (+3.2%).
