Summary
The Industrial Producer Price Index (IPPI) recorded a year-on-year change of 3.8% in April (null variation in the previous month). This development was mainly driven by the 17.2% year-on-year increase observed in the Energy grouping, without which the IPPI would have shown a growth of 1.4% (0.1% in March).
The month-on-month change stood at 2.4%, in contrast to the 1.4% decrease recorded in April 2025.
