Summary
The Industry Turnover Index, adjusted for seasonal and calendar effects, recorded a nominal year-on-year change rate of 5.6% in July (6.6% in the previous month). Excluding the Energy grouping, industrial turnover rose 3.9% (5.3% in June). Domestic and non-domestic market indices increased by 7.9% and 1.6%, respectively, 1.2 percentage points (p.p.) and 0.7 p.p. lower from the ones observed in the previous month.
In year-on-year terms, employment and hours worked (adjusted for calendar effects) decreased 1.3% and 1.7% in July (variations of -0.3% and -0.7% in the previous month), while wages increased by 3.9% (6.5% in June).
