Summary
In July, the Services Turnover Index recorded a year-on-year nominal growth of 2.1%, corresponding to a deceleration of 2.5 percentage points (p.p.) compared with the previous month. In real terms, the deflated index decreased 2.6%, down by 2.5 from June.
On a month-on-month basis, the nominal index fell by 1.6%, following a 2.6% increase in June.
The indices of employment, wages and salaries and hours worked (adjusted for calendar effects) recorded year-on-year changes of -1.3%, 4.9%, and 0.6%, respectively (1.5%, 7.1%, and 2.0% in June).
