• The unemployment rate stood at 5.6%, as in December 2025, but down by 0.4 percentage points (pp) from October and by 0.8 pp from January of that year.
• The labour underutilisation rate was estimated at 9.6%, as in the previous month, but down from three months earlier (0.4 pp) and from the same month of a year before (1.1 pp).
• The labour underutilization covered 548.7 thousand individuals, reaching the lowest value since February 2011.
February 2026 (provisional estimates):
• The unemployment rate stood at 5.8%, up from January 2026 (0.2 pp) and from November 2025 (0.1 pp), but down from February of a year before (0.4 pp).
• The labour underutilisation rate was estimated at 9.7%, up from the previous month (0.1 pp), but down from three months before (0.1 pp) and from a year earlier (0.9 pp).
