In January, the Turnover Index in Services increased by 1.8% year-on-year in nominal terms, representing a deceleration of 2.0 percentage points compared to the previous month. In real terms, the deflated index declined by 1.5%, following a year-on-year decrease of 0.5% in December.

The monthly rate of change of the nominal index in January stood at 2.2% (0.4% in the previous month).

The year-on-year rates of change of the indices of employment, wages and salaries were 2.0% and 7.3%, respectively (2.7% and 8.1% in December, respectively).
