In April 2006, and in spite of the favourable developments in restaurants and hotels and in transport, storage and communications, services turnover had a year-on-year rate of change of -4%, which was due to the negative developments in wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles, motorcycles and personal and household goods, and in real estate, renting and business activities.
