- March 2006
12 May 2006
Summary
In March 2006 hotels registered 2.5 million overnight stays, which corresponds to a year-on-year decline of -6.1%. This decline was chiefly due to both residents (-13.7%) and non-residents (¿2.4%), probably influenced by the Easter effect (occurring in March in 2005, and in April in 2006).
Total income and income from hotel occupancy fell also, year-on-year, by -1.4% and ¿4.0% respectively.
