In June 2026, 7.1 million passengers and 21.8 thousand tonnes of freight and mail were handled at national airports, corresponding to year-on-year variations of -0.2% and +3.4%, respectively (+2.9% and -3.3%, in the previous month, in the same order).
In that month, there was a daily average of 118.7 thousand passengers disembarked, which corresponds to an increase of 0.1% compared with June 2025.
In the first semester of 2026, the number of passengers handled increased 2.5% and the movement of freight and mail 0.4% (+4.8% and +2.5% in the first semester of 2025, in the same order).
The United Kingdom remained the main country of origin and destination of flights. France, Spain and Germany retained, respectively, 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions. Italy kept the 5th position between the main countries of destination and ranked 5th between the main countries of origin.
