In May 2025, 6.9 million passengers and 22.8 thousand tonnes of freight and mail were handled at national airports, corresponding to year-on-year variations of +5.7% and +8.1%, respectively, compared with May 2024 (+8.1% and +1.7%, in the previous month, in the same order).

In May 2025, there was a daily average of 112.9 thousand passengers disembarked, higher than the one registered in May 2024 (106.4 thousand), recording an increase of 6.1%.

The United Kingdom remained the main country of origin and destination of flights, considering the first five month of 2025, recording an increase in the number of disembarked and embarked passengers compared with the same period of 2024 (+2.8% and +2.2%, respectively). France remained in the 2nd position and Spain in 3rd position, as countries of origin and of destination.
