April 2025 (provisional estimates):

• The unemployment rate stood at 6.3%, down by 0,1 pp from the three periods under comparison: the previous month, three months before and the same month of 2024.

• The labour underutilisation rate stood at 10.6%, down from the previous month and from three months before (0.2 pp in both) and down from the same month of 2024 (0.4 pp).

• In April 2025, the active population (5,565.4 thousand) reached the highest value since February 1998.
