In the 2nd quarter of 2025, national airports handled 20.5 million passengers, corresponding to an increase of 6.6% (+2.4% in the 1st Q 2025).

In the same quarter, 59.2 million passengers travelled by train (+7.5%; +10.2% in the 1st Q2025) and 73.9 million by metro (+0.8%; +4.1% in the 1st Q 2025). 

Passenger transport by inland waterways increased by 0.3% compared with the 2nd Q 2024 (+1.4% in the 1st Q 2025), reaching 6.2 million passengers.

Regarding the transport of goods, there were decreases by road (-6.9%; -3.9% in the previous quarter) and by sea (-6.8%; -3.9% in the 1st Q 2025) and increases by rail (+12.6%; +3.9% in the 1st Q 2025) and by air (+4.6%; +0.4% in the 1st Q 2025).
