In the 1st quarter of 2025, national airports handled nearly 14 million passengers, corresponding to an increase of 2.4% (+4.1% in the 4th Q2024).

In the same quarter, 57.1 million passengers travelled by train (+10.2%; +6.9% in the 4th Q2024) and 71.0 million by metro (+4.1%; +10.3% in the 4th Q2024). 

Passenger transport by inland waterways increased by 1.4% compared with the 1st Q2024 (+7.9% in the 4th Q2024), reaching 5.3 million passengers.

Regarding the transport of goods, there were decreases by road (-2.8%; -11.8% in the previous quarter) and by sea (-3.9%; +10.5% in the 4th Q2024) and increases by rail (+3.9%; +0.4% in the 4th Q2024) and by air (+0.4%; +12.6% in the 4th Q2024).
