Overnight stays by non-residents are on the rise again in October after two months of decline - October 2025

Summary

In October 2025, the tourist accommodation sector accounted for 3.1 million guests (+3.8%) and 7.7 million overnight stays (+2.4%), resulting in a total revenue of EUR 691.2 million and EUR 521.5 million in revenue from accommodation (+7.3% and +6.1%, respectively).

Residents contributed to the growth in overnight stays, increasing by 6.4% (+4.9% in September) to 2.0 million, as well as non-residents, who spent 1.1% more overnight stays (following a 1.1% decrease in September), totalling 5.8 million.

Among the top 10 inbound markets in terms of overnight stays, the Canadian and Spanish markets experienced the largest growth in October (+4.7% and +2.4%, respectively). The largest declines were observed in the French (-6.8%) and Dutch (-6.0%) markets.

The revenue per available room (RevPAR) was EUR 77.5 (+2.9%), while the average daily rate (ADR) stood at EUR 122.6 (+3.5%).
