The services turnover index, in nominal terms and adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects, presented a year-on-year rate of change of 0.9%, in March, representing a deceleration of 3.7 percentage points (p.p.) compared to the rate observed in the previous month.

In the first quarter of 2025, the index registered an increase of 4.2%, while in the last quarter of 2024 the change was 4.4%.

In March, the monthly rate of change of the total index was -1.8%, deepening the decrease observed in the previous month of -0.8%.

The employment and wages and salaries indices presented year-on-year rates of change of 3.1 % and 8.4%, respectively, in March (compared to 4.0% and 8.7% in February).
