The trade turnover index increased by 2.3% year-on-year in September, following a 3.4% rise in August. Retail trade turnover grew by 5.0%, up from 4.4% increase in the previous month. In contrast, wholesale trade turnover decelerated by 0.5 percentage points, from the 0.8% growth recorded in August.

In the third quarter of 2025, trade sales grew by 3.0% year-on-year, down from 3.2% in the second quarter.

The employment index decreased by 0.4% year-on-year in September, after a 0.1% fall in August. Total remuneration growth also slowed down, with the year-on-year of change decreasing from 5.4% in August to 5.0% in September.
