In July, the trade turnover index recorded a year-on-year increase of 3.5%, compared with 4.7% in June. Retail sales grew by 6.2%, accelerating from 5.8% in the previous month, while wholesale trade rose by 0.8%, slowing from 3.5% in June.

The employment index declined by 1.3%, following a slight increase of 0.1% in June, while the wages index grew by 4.6%, easing from 5.4% in the previous month.
