The trade turnover index recorded a year-on-year increase of 3.6% in May (null in the previous month). Retail sales rose 4.8% (3.0% in the previous period), while wholesale trade increased by 0.8% (compared to -2.8% in the preceding month).

The employment index recorded a variation of -0.1% (0.5% in the previous month), while the wages index decreased from 5.9% in April to 4.7% in May.
