The flash estimate of International Trade in Goods for the 1st quarter of 2025 points to increases in exports and imports of, respectively, 7.8% and 7.1%, in nominal terms and compared to the same period of 2024. However, it is worth keeping in mind that these changes reflect, as in the previous quarter and especially in exports, the increases in processing transactions, without change of ownership.
Transactions of goods have thus increased for the third consecutive quarter, accelerating from the previous one, which had recorded year-on-year variations of 3.9% in exports and 6.2% in imports.
