• The labour underutilisation rate was estimated at 10.8%, down from the month before (0.2 pp), from three months earlier (0.1 pp) and from the same month of 2023 (0.6 pp).

January 2025 (provisional estimates):

• The unemployment rate stood at 6.2%, down from January 2024 (0.2 pp), from October (0.4 pp) and from December 2024 (0.2 pp).

• The labour underutilisation rate stood at 10.6%, down from the three periods under comparison: previous month (0.2 pp), three months earlier (0.4 pp) and same month of 2024 (0.8 pp).

• This labour underutilisation rate represented the lowest value since February 2011.
