The trade turnover index recorded a year-on-year growth of 5.8% in February, up by 0.3 percentage points (p.p.) compared to the previous month. Retail sales grew by 5.0% (5.5% in the previous period), while wholesale trade increased by 6.3% (7.5% in January).

The employment and wages indices showed year-on-year increases of 1.2% and 5.7% respectively. These results compare to the changes of 1.4% and 6.3%, registered in January.
