Summary
In the 1998-2004 period the manufacture of food products and beverages (Division 15 of the CAE - Rev. 2.1) increased sharply. In the last three years (2002 to 2004), however, it slowed down, as a result of a fall in 2003 (-0.16%), and resumed the upward trend in 2004 (+1.37%), with the sales volume reaching €9,428 million. The group in the manufacture of food products with the highest sales volume was beverages, reaching €2,065 million.
