Summary
The interest rate on housing loans as a whole was set at 3.801% in March, which represents an increase of 0.058 percentage point (p.p.) from February, but nonetheless a smaller increase than in the previous month (0.069 p.p.). The rate on contracts signed over the last 3 months went up by 0.068 p.p. to 3.539%. The average value of principal outstanding per contract indicated a monthly increase of €177, and loan repayments stood at €279.
