Summary
The results of the April 2006 Investment Survey reveal a slight increase in investment in 2005, which represented an upward revision from the previous estimate. In the present survey, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) of enterprises grew by 0.7% in 2005, compared to a 4.3% fall in the October Survey. The present estimate for 2006 points to a 10.5% growth in business investment, thus accounting for a strong acceleration from the 2005 value.
