According to the flash estimate, in October 2020, the tourist accommodation sector should have registered 1.0 million guests and 2.4 million overnight stays, corresponding to year-on-year rates of change of -59.3% and -63.0%, respectively (-52.7% and -53.4% in September, in the same order). Overnight stays of residents will have decreased by 21.0% (-8.5% in September) and those of non-residents will have fallen by 76.2% (-71.9% in the previous month).
In October, 29.9% of tourist accommodation establishments would have been closed or did not received guests (24.0% in September).
