The index of production in construction increased by 3.1% in the quarter ending in December 2018, in year-on-year terms (3 months moving average, working days and seasonally adjusted), down by 0.8% percentage points from the rate observed in November.
Employment and wages and salaries indices registered year-on-year change rates, respectively, of 2.0% and 4.8% (2.3% and 4.2% in the previous month). Annual average of 2018, for production, employment and wage and salaries grew, respectively, 3.4%, 2.3% and 4.0% (1.9%, 1.8% and 1.6% in the previous year). Wages and salaries per capita grew 1.7% in 2018 (-0.2% in 2017).
