Summary
In 2006 and 2007, only the region of Lisbon was above the European average of GDP per capita in Purchasing Power Parities (PPP). For 2007, GDP per capita of the NUTS 2 Portuguese regions of Norte, Centro, Autonomous Region of Azores, Alentejo, Algarve, Autonomous Region of Madeira and of Lisbon represented, respectively, 61%, 65%, 68%, 73%, 80%, 97% e 106% of the European Union (EU27) average of the GDP per capita, when that percentage was 76% for the all country, as a all.
