Summary
The Labour Cost Index working days adjusted increased by 4.1% in the 1st quarter of 2015, compared with the same period in 2014. In the previous quarter, it was recorded a decrease of 8.7%.
The two main labour cost items are wage costs and other costs (per hour actually worked). Wage costs increased by 4.3% from the same period a year earlier and other costs increased by 3.2%.
