Summary
The retail trade turnover index (seasonally adjusted and at constant prices) registered a year-on-year change rate of  5.7% in September (-6.1% in August). The year-on-year change rates of the indices of employment, of the number of hours worked adjusted for working days and of wages and salaries were -5.8%, -7.1% and -3.4%, respectively (-5.8%,  6,3% and -4,7% in August, by the same order). In the 3rd quarter 2012 retail trade sales presented a year-on-year change rate of -6.6%, the same rate observed in the previous quarter.
