Summary
In May 2012, Industry Turnover Index decreased by 1.3% in year-on-year terms (change rate of -7.0% in the previous month). The external market sales index rose 7.4%, after decreasing 4.0% in April. The domestic market index decreased 7.1% (-9.1% in the previous month).
In year-on-year terms, employment, wages and salaries and hours worked, adjusted for calendar effects, decreased by 4.2%, 4.7% and 2.1%, respectively.
